Herzog Says Israel Is Here to Stay After Turkish Attack
President Isaac Herzog on July 5 used the state memorial ceremony for Theodor Herzl to answer Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan's attack that Israel is an unbearable burden. Herzog said Israel is here to stay, is a blessing to the world and stands at the front against terrorism threatening the whole world. He added that Israeli developments and inventions bring welfare and good to billions worldwide. Herzog also warned ahead of the election season that elections are not a civil war, and that future generations will live in the reality Israelis choose to build now.
