Kaplan Employee Arrested Over Assault on Emergency Doctors
Police arrested a Kaplan Medical Center maintenance employee suspected of slapping a doctor and pushing another doctor while staff treated his stabbed son in emergency care. The father was arrested Friday, the Petah Tikva Magistrate's Court extended his detention, and investigators cited suspected assault of a public servant and threats. Kaplan said it has zero tolerance for violence against medical teams, and doctors held a two-hour protest strike. Protecting doctors protects Israeli families at their most vulnerable.
