Police Seize Weapons and Vehicles in Galilee Arab-Crime Sweep
Israel Police said a national operation in the Galilee sent police, Border Police, National Guard and government enforcement teams into dozens of compounds and businesses in Sakhnin, Arrabe, Deir Hanna, Kafr Manda and nearby areas. The official post said officers located more than 30 vehicles whose owners had tens of millions of shekels in tax debts, while reports said dozens of weapons intended for criminal use in Arab society were seized, including 15 pistols, rifles and explosive charges. Commissioner Daniel Levy, Northern District commander Meir Eliyahu and investigations chief Boaz Balat reviewed the operation. Israel's duty is to protect law-abiding Arab citizens by cutting criminal networks' money, guns and intimidation.
