Antisemitism Studies Association Launches in Haifa

A new Contemporary Antisemitism Studies Association formally launched at the University of Haifa during the Contemporary Antisemitism - Haifa 2026 conference. Reports and first-party posts said the group is a U.S.-UK-Israel academic partnership linking the London Centre for the Study of Contemporary Antisemitism, Gratz College and the Comper Center at the University of Haifa. More than 150 academics joined as founding members, with plans for research networks, annual conferences, a peer-reviewed journal, a book series and policy-facing work. The launch strengthens rigorous scholarship against Jew-hatred and anti-Zionist demonization while keeping Israeli researchers integrated into the global academic conversation.
