US Withdraws F-22 Jets From Southern Israel Airbase

The U.S. Air Force redeployed F-22 stealth fighters from Ovda Air Base in southern Israel to RAF Fairford in the United Kingdom on Friday, as Washington and Tehran tested whether the latest Iran flare-up could be contained. Aviation tracking and regional reports identified ten or at least ten Raptors in the movement, after months of deployment tied to the Iran war. The aircraft had been stationed at Ovda since late February as part of U.S. regional combat preparations. The move looks like a planned American rotation, not an Israeli pullback; Israel remains on alert while allied forces adjust their regional footprint.
