13-Year-Old Seriously Hurt After Being Struck on Route 1

A Magen David Adom team evacuated a 13-year-old boy to Hadassah Mount Scopus Hospital in serious condition Sunday evening after a car struck him on Route 1 near Kfar Adumim. The emergency service said its Jerusalem dispatch center received the call at 19:50. Paramedics and emergency medical technicians treated the boy at the scene before taking him to the Jerusalem hospital. He suffered injuries to his head and pelvis.
