Survivors Allege Two Generals Ignored Port Shuaiba Attack Warnings

Survivors of Iran's March 1 drone strike on Port Shuaiba in Kuwait allege that Brig. Gen. Clint Barnes and Maj. Gen. John Hinson ignored intelligence and force-protection warnings that the port was a probable target. The attack killed six U.S. soldiers and wounded more than 30 after a Shahed drone struck a tactical operations center. Army Central says the site was selected under operational plans, fortified and protected by layered defenses, and says commanders assisted evacuation efforts. The service has completed reviews of the attack, but one inquiry currently assigns no fault and the findings have not been publicly released.
