Tiberias Violence Leaves Man, 23, Seriously Wounded

A 23-year-old man was seriously wounded in a violent incident on HaShomer Street in Tiberias early Monday. Magen David Adom said its Jordan Region 101 center received the call at 1:26 a.m.; paramedics treated the man for a penetrating injury and evacuated him in serious condition to North Medical Center in Poriya. The public reports did not identify a suspect, a motive or an arrest. No additional casualty was reported at publication time, and the circumstances remained under investigation.
