Trump Praises Netanyahu While Saying He Makes Disagreements Known

U.S. President Donald Trump said Monday night that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is doing a “wonderful job” and that the two leaders get along very well. Trump said they sometimes disagree, but he makes sure Netanyahu knows when that happens. He did not identify a current dispute or name an issue on which the two leaders differ. The comments came in the same interview in which Trump said the United States would strike Iran hard that night and again the next day.
