Arkia Adds Wide-Body Flights to New York for Late-Summer Demand

Arkia announced additional Monday and Wednesday flights between Tel Aviv and New York during August and September, using a 345-seat Boeing 787-9 operated by Italy's Neos. The aircraft will offer economy and premium cabins plus paid Wi-Fi. From September 11, a Hi Fly Airbus A330-300 will replace one aircraft now serving the route, with 249 seats, including 46 in business class and 203 in economy. Arkia said an Israeli crew will be present on every flight and that the expansion responds to strong demand for its flagship U.S. route.
