Michael Katz Dies Three Months After Iranian Missile Strike in Haifa

Michael Katz, 82, died Wednesday after fighting for his life for three months following an Iranian ballistic missile strike on his Haifa apartment building. Katz was pulled from the rubble with critical injuries after the direct hit, which killed four members of the Gershovitz family. He worked for Rafael for decades, contributed to Israel's security and received a Rafael award. He is survived by his wife Nina, who was lightly wounded in the strike, their sons Itamar and Yoav, and six grandchildren.
