Jordan Downs Four Drones That Entered Its Airspace

Jordan's Armed Forces said Royal Jordanian Air Force aircraft intercepted and downed four drones that entered the kingdom's airspace during the preceding 24 hours. A military source said the operation protected Jordan's airspace, sovereignty and public safety. The Armed Forces said they remain ready to confront drones, missiles or other threats to the kingdom's security and citizens. The statement reported no injuries or material damage and did not identify the drones' origin, intended targets or interception locations.
