Construction Worker Killed by Heavy Object Near Kiryat Malakhi

Emergency dispatchers received a report at 09:37 Sunday that a worker had been struck by a heavy object while working at a construction site near Kiryat Malakhi. Magen David Adom paramedics found the approximately 30-year-old man with multisystem injuries and performed resuscitation efforts. They ultimately declared him dead at the scene. The initial official notice and contemporaneous report did not identify the worker, the construction project, his employer or the object involved, and did not state whether police or workplace-safety authorities had opened an investigation.
