Highway 6 Crash Kills 17-Year-Old After Truck Hits Two Cars

A 17-year-old was killed and a 27-year-old man was moderately wounded shortly after midnight in a collision involving a truck and two cars on Highway 6 near the Kiryat Gat interchange. Emergency crews treated both victims while rescuers freed them from one of the vehicles. Paramedics continued advanced resuscitation efforts on the teenager but pronounced him dead at the scene. The second man, who suffered limb injuries, was taken to Kaplan Medical Center. Police opened an investigation into the northbound crash; its cause was not immediately known.
