Mobileye Founder Amnon Shashua to Step Down as CEO
Mobileye founder Amnon Shashua informed the board that he intends to step down as president and chief executive once a successor is appointed. The Jerusalem-based autonomous-driving company said its board will hire an executive search firm and conduct a comprehensive CEO search. Shashua will remain a director and has been offered the chairmanship after the transition. He said the move would create a leadership structure suited to Mobileye's next chapter, while he plans to keep contributing in advanced artificial intelligence, autonomous systems and humanoid robotics.
