Cyclist Seriously Hurt in Safed Bus Collision

Magen David Adom's Jordan dispatch center received a report at 9:01 p.m. that a cyclist had been hit by a bus on Rabbi Levi Bistritzky Street in Safed. Paramedics and emergency medical technicians treated the rider, described as a man around 20 years old, for a serious head injury. He was sedated and ventilated before evacuation to Ziv Medical Center. The official emergency dispatch did not identify him, describe the circumstances leading to the collision or provide information about the bus driver.
