Users in Israel and around the world reported widespread ChatGPT failures on Saturday, with conversations and chat history failing to load. OpenAI opened an incident at 12:17 p.m. Israel time, said users were experiencing elevated error rates, and later applied a mitigation while monitoring recovery. Downdetector recorded a sharp rise in user reports around noon, while independent testing found the service unavailable across multiple regions. OpenAI did not immediately disclose the underlying cause, and the incident remained in monitoring status at publication time.
