An 80-year-old driver was moderately injured Monday morning in a single-vehicle crash on Jerusalem Boulevard in Ashdod. United Hatzalah medical teams treated him at the scene before he was taken to a hospital for further care. Volunteer medic Yohai Cohen said responders provided initial treatment and evacuated the injured man in moderate condition. The emergency service did not immediately publish the cause of the crash, the hospital destination, whether anyone else was involved, or any later update on the driver's condition in its first report.
