Gaza Death Notices Link Reported Health Workers to Terror Groups

Death notices published by Hamas and Palestinian Islamic Jihad identify at least 18 Gaza residents previously described as doctors, nurses, paramedics or hospital and Health Ministry employees as members of the terror groups. The records include Mohammed Akram al-Kafarna, whom Hamas described as both a nurse and a fighter in its Nidal Nasser Battalion. Islamic Jihad identified Ahmad Adel Abu al-Hilal, previously presented in hospital scrubs, as a team commander in its Rafah Brigade information unit. The notices, released among hundreds of operative names in recent months, add documented cases to Israel's evidence that terror groups used Gaza's medical system during the war.
