Yashar Leads One Evening Poll, Likud Leads Another

Two election polls released Monday evening produced sharply different races at the top. One put Gadi Eisenkot's Yashar on 23 seats and Likud on 22, with Zionist opposition parties totaling 60 seats and the current coalition on 50; it also showed the Tropper-Hendel Zionist Home-Reservists list crossing the threshold for the first time. The other gave Likud 29 seats and Yashar 21, placing coalition parties on 59 and the full opposition, including Arab parties, on 61. Netanyahu and Eisenkot were tied at 38% for prime minister in the first poll and nearly level at 45%-44% in the second.
