Magen David Adom said its Negev dispatch center received a report at 2:39 p.m. that a six-month-old girl had been brought to a local clinic in Rahat after apparently being burned by hot oil. Paramedics treated the infant, who had burns to her face and chest. She was in moderate condition when responders transferred her from the clinic to Soroka Medical Center in Beersheba. The emergency report described the patient as approximately half a year old.
