Check Point Revenue Rises 1% to $674 Million as Subscription Sales Grow 12%

Check Point Software reported second-quarter revenue of $674 million, up 1% year over year, while security-subscription revenue rose 12% to $333 million. Non-GAAP earnings reached $2.55 a share, up 8%, and cash flow from operations totaled $170 million, down from $262 million a year earlier. Product and license revenue fell 14%, and the shares dropped about 11% in U.S. premarket trading after revenue came in slightly below analyst expectations. The Israeli cybersecurity company also recorded a $28 million reduction in research and development expenses under Israel’s new R&D tax-incentive program.
