Cyclist, 72, Seriously Injured Near Givat Ada

Magen David Adom’s Sharon Region 101 dispatch center received a report at 7:51 p.m. Thursday that a cyclist had been injured while riding in open terrain near Givat Ada. Paramedics and emergency medical technicians treated the 72-year-old woman for head and limb injuries. The medical team evacuated her to Rambam Hospital in serious condition. The initial emergency-service announcement did not identify the woman or explain how she was injured, whether another vehicle or rider was involved, or whether police were investigating the incident.
