Motorcyclist Revived After Highway 1 Crash Near Mitzpe Jericho

A motorcycle and a private car collided on Highway 1 near Mitzpe Jericho late Wednesday. Emergency medics found the rider, a man about 25, without a pulse and not breathing, and began CPR with additional responders at the scene. His heartbeat returned during resuscitation, and he was taken to Hadassah Mount Scopus Hospital in Jerusalem in serious condition for further treatment. The initial emergency report did not identify the car's occupants, describe any other injuries, or state what caused the collision.
