Man, About 35, Moderately Wounded in Beersheba Violence

A man about 35 was moderately wounded in a violent incident on Wingate Street in Beersheba, according to an emergency medical statement issued Friday morning. United Hatzalah medical teams provided initial treatment at the scene. Medic Yaakov Yisrael Mazuz said responders were told the man had been hurt in violence and found penetrating injuries to his body. The patient was taken to Soroka Medical Center in moderate condition after receiving treatment. The organization published the notice at 8:38 a.m. Israel time and did not identify the man or describe the circumstances of the violence.
