NITE Says AI Will Help Write and Grade Israeli University Entrance Tests

Israel's National Institute for Testing and Evaluation says it will integrate artificial intelligence into developing and writing questionnaires, including translation and test adaptation. AI tools will help analyze questions, estimate difficulty and simulate exams, while every AI-assisted product will undergo professional human review and approval. An experimental AMIRNET English writing task is already being checked with an AI-based system, and the institute says AI will help set that task's scores next year. The use is expected to expand later to YAELNET and the computerized Psychometric Entrance Test as those exams move online.
