Lebanese Army Enters Al-Mansouri and Begins Reopening Roads After Israeli Strikes

Lebanese Army units entered the southern village of Al-Mansouri in the Tyre district overnight and began reopening roads that had been closed by recent Israeli strikes. The army said it is working to secure the return of residents who left the village during the fighting. Israel struck Al-Mansouri this week and issued the village its first evacuation order since June, after a bomb in a booby-trapped building killed two IDF reservists in nearby Majdal Zoun. The military accused Hezbollah of violating the ceasefire, and Israel has said it will not withdraw further in southern Lebanon until Hezbollah's disarmament is verified.
