IDF Reports No Injuries After Mistaken Interceptor Launch in Lebanon

At about 1:30 a.m. Israel time, the IDF said an interceptor was mistakenly launched toward a target that was later identified as Israeli fire from operations in the Security Zone in southern Lebanon. The military reported no injuries and said the incident is under review. No sirens sounded, in accordance with protocol. A Hebrew breaking-news report published two minutes later matched that account, stating that the interceptor was fired toward Israeli forces' own fire, that no one was hurt, and that the incident was being investigated.
