Israeli AIR Chooses Florida Hub for U.S. eVTOL Production

Israeli electric-aircraft developer AIR says it will establish its U.S. headquarters, production facility and flight-operations hub at the Florida Department of Transportation's SunTrax campus in Auburndale. The company has already moved into roughly 20,000 square feet at the 775-acre site and plans to begin manufacturing by the end of 2026. Flight testing for its two-seat AIR ONE and heavy-lift cargo aircraft will shift from West Palm Beach to SunTrax. CEO Rani Plaut said Florida's aviation ecosystem and more than 300 AIR customers in the state made the site a logical next step.
