New Israeli Strike Leaves 2 Dead and 9 Wounded in Southern Lebanon

Lebanese authorities reported that Israeli warplanes struck a building in Deir al-Zahrani in the Nabatieh district on Saturday. Lebanon’s Health Ministry Emergency Operations Center gave a preliminary toll of two people killed and nine wounded, with no identities released. A follow-up state report said ambulance crews transported casualties to hospitals in the area. Earlier, the IDF said it had struck Hezbollah infrastructure in Nabatieh and Ansar after Hezbollah activity threatened Israeli troops at Ali al-Taher Ridge, but the statement did not explicitly link that operation to the later Deir al-Zahrani strike.
