AI Search History Helped Police Trace Missing Israelis to Argentina

Israel Police investigators traced Mali Yahalomi and her daughter Liel to Argentina after locating a Gemini account whose search history provided clues to their route. The pair flew to Vienna on August 4, bought new phones in Prague, left their old devices at a Vienna train station and continued through Frankfurt before flying to Buenos Aires. Police combined passport records, airport footage and cooperation with Europol and foreign agencies. Interpol notified Israel’s police representative in Argentina on August 14 that the women had been found on an intercity bus.
