Nvidia Israel Business Chief Nati Amsterdam to Head Microsoft Israel

Nati Amsterdam, who joined Nvidia in 2016 and serves as senior director of its Israeli business operation, is taking over as head of Microsoft Israel's sales, marketing and services arm. He succeeds Alon Haimovich, who ran the subsidiary from July 2022 and left on May 31 after Microsoft's Seattle headquarters reviewed the use Israeli security forces make of its cloud services. Microsoft said in May that it would name a successor in due course, and the Israeli operation has since been managed under Microsoft France. The review followed the disclosure that the IDF's Unit 8200 signals intelligence unit had used Microsoft cloud systems.
