Australia and Western Australia have agreed to invest more than A$38 million in four early-learning centres in outer suburbs and remote communities, creating more than 140 places. The federal government will provide up to A$27.9 million through the Building Early Education Fund. Announced sites include Maarakool and Greenmount primary schools and a Derby early-learning and family centre; the fourth site is to be announced later.
