The 63rd Damascus International Fair opened to the public on Saturday after three days of business-only sessions at Damascus Fairgrounds. About 1,000 entities representing 60 countries are taking part through September 4, including companies, public institutions, chambers of commerce and business councils. The business program included company-to-company and company-to-government meetings focused on trade, industry, investment and joint projects, while official sectors span construction, food, technology, energy and production. Public visiting hours run from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m., with free buses from Bab Touma and Baramkeh and medical, civil-defense and security teams deployed onsite.
