Pezeshkian Says Iran-U.S. MoU Would Prevent U.S.-Israeli Regional Action

Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian said implementing a memorandum with the United States would prevent Washington and Israel from exposing the region to turmoil, aggression and insecurity. Speaking Saturday at a ceremony for municipal and rural projects, he said Iran does not seek war but would resist any aggressor and would not yield to threats while pursuing diplomacy. Pezeshkian said internal unity and the memorandum would help Iran secure what he called its rights. He also urged cooperation among Islamic countries as Iran’s conflict with Israel and the United States continues.
