Dudu Tassa and Jonny Greenwood to Open Jerusalem’s Oud Festival

Dudu Tassa and Radiohead guitarist Jonny Greenwood will open the Jerusalem International Oud Festival at Sherover Hall in the Jerusalem Theatre on November 5 at 21:00. The program will feature material from their joint album Jarak Qaribak, which reworks classical Arabic love songs from Jordan, Lebanon, Syria, Iraq, Algeria, Egypt and Morocco. The concert will also include material from the project’s next chapter and Tassa’s Kuwaitis albums. The listed ensemble includes Karrar Al Saadi, Dan Mayo, Ariel Qassis, Yitzhak Ventura, Sefi Zisling and Yaniv Taichman, with tickets priced at NIS 250.
