Brazil Secures Two Beach Volleyball Places at Los Angeles 2028 Olympics

Brazil secured one women’s and one men’s beach volleyball quota place for Los Angeles 2028 after Brazilian pairs won both titles at the South American qualifier in João Pessoa on Sunday. Thâmela and Vic beat Paraguay’s Michelle and Corrales 26-24, 21-7 in the women’s final at Busto de Tamandaré. In the men’s event, semifinal victories by Evandro and Arthur Lanci and by André and Renato guaranteed an all-Brazil final and the second quota. André and Renato then took the men’s title, leaving Brazil with two national quota places across the competitions.
