Energean First-Half Profit Jumps 45% to $160 Million as Israel Output Recovers

Energean reported first-half profit after tax of $160 million, up 45% from $110 million a year earlier, after production recovered from a 41-day Israeli shutdown. Group revenue fell 8% to $743 million and adjusted EBITDAX declined 5% to $478 million, while August production exceeded 180,000 barrels of oil equivalent per day. The company maintained full-year production guidance of 130,000 to 140,000 boe/d. Energean also said its $1.2 billion Katlan project remains on budget for first gas in the first half of 2027 and highlighted an approximately $1.4 billion Sorek gas-supply agreement for a new Israeli power station.
