Hostile Projectiles Reported in Iran’s Sirik as Explosions Sound in Minab and Qeshm

Several areas in Sirik, in southern Iran’s Hormozgan province, were reported hit by hostile projectiles late Wednesday. Explosions were also reported in Minab and on Qeshm Island; local authorities said the sounds on Qeshm came from the direction of the sea. Reports placed the blasts at about 12:24 to 12:26 a.m. Thursday local time and described buildings shaking. No verified report identified the attacker or intended targets, and casualties and damage had not been confirmed.
