IDF Duvdevan troops arrested Muhammad Ibrahim Shahada, described by the military as a senior Fatah terrorist operative in Tulkarm, during an operation Monday morning under the Ephraim Brigade and Shin Bet intelligence direction. The arrest followed an intelligence and operational pursuit lasting several weeks. The joint IDF-Shin Bet statement said Shahada was wanted on suspicion of involvement in terrorist activity, planning and executing attacks, and trafficking weapons. Officials did not identify specific attacks connected to the suspect, and the statement reported no casualties or seized weapons.
