Maytronics Recalls Niya Aquasweep S10 Pool Vacuum Over Fire Risk

Maytronics has announced a recall in Israel of its Niya Aquasweep S10 rechargeable handheld pool vacuum after finding that weakened casing in some units may crack and admit water to the motor. The company says water intrusion could cause a short circuit, overheating and a potential fire, and has asked owners to stop using or charging the device immediately. The recall covers black units bearing SKU IL-9997301 sold from April 23 through August 14, 2026. Maytronics says it will arrange collection and compensation; the notice was coordinated with the Economy Ministry's standards commissioner.
