Mazkeret Batya Extends Student Scholarship Deadline to October 1

Mazkeret Batya Local Council has extended applications for its student scholarship program until October 1. The council says 30 local students can receive NIS 10,000 each in return for meaningful community activity. It is running the program with Mifal HaPayis, while some scholarships also involve Rotary, the Kfir Scouts troop and Kupat Ha'ir. The council has scheduled an online question-and-answer session for September 28 from 8:30 to 9 p.m. Its new notice invites residents who have already applied, as well as those considering an application, to join the session with questions.
