Suspect Arrested After Object Thrown at Bennett During Bnei Brak Campaign Visit

Former Prime Minister Naftali Bennett, chairman of the Beyachad party, came to a restaurant in Bnei Brak on Thursday evening to film one of the "Parliament" videos he has been posting on social media in recent weeks for his election campaign. According to Israel Police, a passerby threw an object that did not hit him. Officers from the Bnei Brak-Ramat Gan police station who were at the scene immediately arrested the suspect and brought him in for questioning. Bennett was not hurt. Right-wing activist Mordechai David was among those present and was filmed shouting at Bennett.
