Posters Targeting Ohana Line His Children’s Route to School

Courtroom-sketch editorial illustration of a roadside bollard beside a red-and-white curb and paved sidewalk, with a black poster bearing a red-and-green portrait wrapped around the bollard, drawn in warm ochre and slate-blue pastel with cross-hatching on sepia newsprint.

On the first morning of the school year, Knesset Speaker Amir Ohana said posters attacking him lined the entire route from his home to his children’s school while he accompanied them to class. Ohana said Ela and David were entering sixth grade and that the placement targeted not only him, but also his children, their classmates and the school. ‘This is not meant for me, but for them and their classmates,’ he wrote. He asked whether Israelis want political disputes conducted in this way.
