Netanyahu and Milei Discuss Expanding 'Isaac Accords' at U.N. Meeting

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu met Argentine President Javier Milei on Thursday on the sidelines of the U.N. General Assembly in New York, the Prime Minister's Office said. Netanyahu thanked Milei for his "steadfast and unconditional support" for Israel and congratulated him on receiving the "Defender of Israel" award from the Darchei Torah Yeshiva in New York. The leaders discussed what the office called a positive strategic shift for Israel in Latin America that makes possible expanding the "Isaac Accords," led by Milei, to deepen security and economic cooperation between Israel and Latin American countries. Netanyahu called Milei "one of the great leaders of our time," and Milei said it was an honor to receive his words.
