Melisron Says CEO Ofir Sarid Will Step Down, Starts Search for Successor

Melisron said in a stock-exchange filing released Thursday that Ofir Sarid is ending his tenure as chief executive effective September 24 because of health circumstances. The company said it learned of his decision at 12:30 p.m. and would begin looking for a permanent successor. Oren Hellinger, Melisron's chief financial officer, will continue serving as acting chief executive alongside his finance role. The filing follows a September 2 disclosure that Sarid was on medical leave, changing a temporary arrangement into a departure.
