Alejandro Weinstein, an early investor in Israeli defense company Smart Shooter, sold his entire 6.8% stake on Thursday for about NIS 51 million. Several institutional investors and hedge funds bought the shares, with Rosario Capital underwriting the transaction. The sale price of NIS 16.2 per share represented a 19% discount to the NIS 20 market reference cited in the report. The transaction followed the stock’s jump after Wednesday’s announcement of a U.S. defense framework agreement worth up to $150 million. Weinstein had also sold NIS 10 million of shares during the company’s March flotation.
