A Russian drone hit a school in Kyiv's Solomianskyi district on the morning of October 1, causing a fire, Mayor Vitalii Klitschko reported. Kyiv Police said more than 100 pupils and about 60 school staff were in a shelter at the time of the attack. According to the police's preliminary information, nobody was injured. The impact damaged the teaching building's facade at third-floor level before the fire broke out. Police officers, explosives specialists and State Emergency Service rescuers were working at the scene.
