Dollar Rises 0.3% Against Shekel, Trading Above NIS 3.05

The dollar rose 0.3% against the shekel in Wednesday morning trading on October 7, moving above NIS 3.05. The euro was little changed against the Israeli currency, trading around NIS 3.43. Internationally, the dollar index climbed 0.3% to 102.1, while the euro fell 0.3% against the dollar and remained above $1.12. The British pound declined 0.2% against the dollar and traded above $1.32, while the U.S. currency strengthened 0.2% against the Japanese yen to 158.4 yen per dollar.
