Power Fault Disrupts Four Ashdod Districts and Traffic Lights

A fault in a high-voltage line interrupted electricity in Ashdod's districts XV, XVI and XVII and the City district on Friday, October 9. Traffic lights were also affected at the Bnei Brit–Menachem Begin junction, where police were sent to direct traffic. Heavy traffic was reported while the fault was being repaired. The municipality initially estimated that electricity would return at 12:30, subject to progress on repairs. An actual restoration time was not confirmed in the information available.
